Credit Union savings accounts are called SHARES because as a member, you "share" ownership of the credit union. You share from a pool of money that is loaned to members at reasonable rates and also invested by the credit union.

To gain Membership into Altoona Regional Health System Federal Credit Union, a Member is required to make a minimum deposit of $5.00 into a Regular Share Account. Since each member has a Regular Share Account, why not help it grow! Making regular deposits over the counter, by mail, or through convenient payroll deduction, a member’s savings will grow and can help you achieve your financial goals.

Dividends are paid monthly on the average daily balances over $100.00 and are posted to your account the last day of the month.

Dividends are declared by the Board of Directors each quarter and cannot be guaranteed.
